The first step in determining a treatment plan for substance abuse or addiction is setting up an evaluation, which will take approximately 60 minutes to complete. This evaluation will provide insight on an individual's personal situation, allow them to share clinical information with a counselor and complete helpful assessments. Through a deeper understanding of an individual's circumstances, substance abuse counselors are better able to create a personalized treatment plan.
