TurningLeaf offers treatment services for both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. Abusive relationships do not change without therapy targeted at changing the abusive patterns. Therapy offers essential tools and perspectives to break through denial and learn how to create new relationship patterns. Through individual, couples and group therapy, the victim and abuser can view the relationship patterns from a broader perspective and work toward ending the abusive cycle. Both parties must be willing to work toward changing the relationship.
TurningLeaf offers a state regulated program, approved by the courts, for those ordered to treatment. Below you will find information on the steps to set up an evaluation.
If you are in need of a Domestic Violence evaluation where the court system is involved or may get involved, you must first make contact with the Division of Child and Family Service (DCFS) at 435-652-2994 to report the need for an evaluation. You may then inform DCFS that you would like to receive service with TurningLeaf Wellness Center.
After making contact with DCFS please call our office at (435) 652-1202. Prior to setting your appointment, you can expect to come into our office to fill out approximately 2-3 hours of initial paperwork.
